Easter Brunch
Happy Spring! This year I finally got back to my tradition of hosting an easter brunch. For the first time ever SB co-hosted and his amazing kitchen talents inspired my menu. Between the two of us we had the best food spread in the history of my brunches.
I was so involved in hostessing and eating that I didn’t take a single photo. Luckily, Karyn not only took a picture but uploaded it AND added captions. The brunch table.
The spread included the following:
- Shortbread waffles
- Phyllo wrapped brie with apricot and rosemary chutney
- Sweet and spicy bacon
- Chipotle roulade – rolled egg souffle with cheese
- Fresh herb roulade – rolled egg souffle with cheese
- My accidentally vegan biscuits
- Fresh fruit salad with mint
- Oven roasted asparagus and artichoke
- Horseradish aioli (made with tofu shhhhh)
- Fruit compote
- Whipped cream
- Champagne mimosas (guava, mango and/or orange)
- Coffee

Sounds Fantastic! Matt and I will now be coming to ATL for Easter next year!

Me again — I just noticed you’re reading Michael Chabon. I had to read this for a book club and was not enthused, but I found it pretty fascinating.

Rosemarie – we will make you brunch any day you come to visit us in ATL!
So far I’m enjoying Kavalier and Clay, at moments loving it and at other moments slogging on. It is kind of slow going, a long book and does feel a little like home work.
