		<description>Thank you for all the comments.  Yes, I think the 7-layer salad would work well at a potluck.  It is tasty and naughty but not too naughty and it is easy to identify what it is.  Be sure to give yourself enough time to roast the garlic.</description>

I too have never had or made seven layer salad - but yours looks much more appetizing than the salads I have always wrinkled my nose at when filling my plate at family gatherings. The sofa looks great and I am inspired to write a best of 2009 list myself.</description>
